Embracing the future of BIM, students from multiple colleges in India’s southwest corner assembled to learn Tekla Structures. The first stop was Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering, where 50 students participated in a hands-on lecture. The following day, 35 students from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology were introduced to industry trends followed by another hands-on interactive tour of Tekla Structures. Day 3 included Universal Engineering College where 45 students engaged in a hands-on workshop, and finally finishing the week at Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology with 50 students all assembled to learn how Tekla Structures BIM software is used by engineers to model, detail, visualize, coordinate and collaborate on projects.
All students who participated in these workshops signed up to the Tekla Education program which includes their Tekla Structures Learning License available free via Tekla Campus, an online academy for students and teachers.
