I'm having issues with differing light levels in a model.
Im experiencing something quite strange in my model. One side of the model is bright, while the other is very dark. Almost like a shadow has been cast on it. The difference in light levels not only makes it hard on the eyes, but on the "dark" side of the model it makes it difficult to see things, like cut planes.
Any idea what is causing this? If it helps, I've noticed that the side that ive cut the view looking into is always the darker side, while the opposite side is much brighter.
I seem to be the only person I've talked to that has ever experienced anything like this. I've attached two views of a structure with one view flipped roughly180 degrees, so that you can see what I mean. Thanks in advance.
The issue was with the defaulted " Fog Start" and "Fog End" values in the advanced options. These values are defaulted to 0.25 and 0.5 respectively. Make both of them the same value and the light will be evenly distributed throughout the model.
