BOLTED TUBE

Hi, is it possible to bolt tube through? Tekla connecting plate only with nearest surface (wall) of tube... but what if i want through tube to next surface (wall) see pic below!

no.. still don't work. Works with smaller tubes.. try for example RHS120*120*5... bolts won't go thru.

Hrmm true. But it has to be that item since Tekla states that Cut Length is "bolt property that indicates the depth at which Tekla Structures searches for the sections of the bolted parts. Cut length determines whether the bolt will go through one flange or two, for example."

This might be a question of bolt length. If the bolt catalog does not contain long enough bolts for your purposes, you need to add them to the bolt catalog. For more information, see http://teklastructures.support.tekla.com/200/en/mod_bolt_length_calculation
