Check out FEM-Design 3D Structure (www.strusoft.com). I have worked both with Robot and FEM-Design and I would choose FD seven days of the week. Much cleaner interface and more intuitive to work with. This software also has a dedicated Tekla-link for transfer of analytic models.
i am trying to work with the files i was given in the learning course but i do no get to open the DB1 extension file i have tryed it of many ways. can some body help me please.
Hi, when you download a model as zip file in a Tekla Campus lesson, you need to extract the package to your model folder location, such as C:\TeklaStructuresLearningModels. The following is a sample of a valid folder structure: C:\TeklaStructuresLearningModels\Campus_test_model\ ,where Campus_test_model contains the db files and other relevant content. You can open the model in Tekla Structures Learning by clicking File > Open... and selecting the model in the list.
You could always have a look at Tedds and Fastrak software from CSC - a recent acquisition by Trimble Group and part of the Trimble Buildings’ Structures Division in the Engineering and Construction segment!! Website link here
