Not allowing the installation saying the installation failed. Using 4GB RAM and 64 bit Windows 10 OS
The installation issue may be caused by a failure to detect added registry data, which is used to determine if the installation was successful.
Workaround is to remove the registry data manually and then try installing the software again:
- Run Registry editor by typing “regedit” to Run window which can be opened by pressing Windows key + R (or you can type “regedit” straight to Windows’ start menu) and press Enter.
- Registry editor is opened. Now browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tekla\Structures and delete “2017 Learning” key (Right-click the key and select “Delete”) .
- Next browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tekla\Structures Environments and delete “2017 Learning” key.
- Download the latest Tekla Structures Learning and try installing it
