Check if your system meets the Tekla Structures 2016i Hardware Recommendations and have a look at the troubleshooting instructions provided here.

If installation still fails it might be a registry problem, check this topic in Campus Lounge.

I cant neither install nor install the software because it gets installation wizard gets interrupted. I was using software and everything was fine. But one day when I double clicked on icon it just wouldnt start. When I tried to uninstall it I get the error I mentioned before.

Re: Interruption of installation 13.09.2017 16:27

The uninstallation issue may be caused by a failure to remove registry data, which is used to determine if the uninstallation was successful.

Workaround is to remove the registry data manually and then uninstall the software from Control Panel:
- Run Registry editor by typing “regedit” to Run window which can be opened by pressing Windows key + R (or you can type “regedit” straight to Windows’ start menu) and press Enter.
- Registry editor is opened. Now browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tekla\Structures and delete “2017 Learning” key (Right-click the key and select “Delete”) .
- Next browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tekla\Structures Environments and delete “2017 Learning” key.
- Uninstall Tekla Structures Learning from Control Panel – Programs and Features
