Hi Brian,
It looks like you may have a corrupt ntdll.dll file. Try the troubleshooting steps outlined here:http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/a/ntdlldll.htm
no luck i have erased and reloaded and its still the same wont boot up .
no problems with other programs so looks like its a nogo for tekla.
i think its likely i am trying to run a 64 bit tekla on a 32 bit system but the download button doesnt give me a choice of what i want so how do i ensure its the 32 bit trial version of tekla ?
Hi,
Tekla Structures Learning is a 32-bit application. You can find more information on the specifications of Tekla Structures Learning, and hardware and OS requirements on the Technical product sheet.
Did you try all the troubleshooting steps for the ntdll.dll error? Sometimes for example outdated hardware drivers cause ntdll.dll errors, and updating drivers for any hardware in your computer might help.
i have looked at the specs and cant find anything wrong with my system and i am running Autocad , Solidworks , and Bentley microstation without any problems ,my system has a AMD firepro graphics card ,are there any special drivers needed for Tekla ??
windows troubleshooter comes up with 'incompatible application '
windows troublshooter points me to >windows xP SP2
Tekla Structures Learning doesn't require any special driver, but as a rule of thumb you should keep your hardware drivers, such as the graphics card driver, up-to-date to avoid any problems.
Also checking the Windows service pack level you're running and then checking Microsoft's support site to see if there is a more recent service pack available for installation is advisable. The supported operating systems for Tekla Structures Learning are Windows 8 and Windows 7 SP1. Windows XP is not supported.
no luck here so i will have to delete it and try another later version as i cant spend any more time on this
