The Civil Engineering department with Diponegoro University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TEKLA (SEA) Pte Ltd to boost the adoption and understanding on BIM in construction.  They will work together to develop curriculum and teaching strategies that emphasize collaboration, building performance and knowledge of tools.

Focusing on the three teachings of academia, research and community service, the team will work jointly to secure project site visits, seminar discussions, and interaction for staff and students on research and development activities, such as competitions and real world projects.  Students will use the embedded tools available through Tekla Campus for continued support and development.  The initial event, held to promote the partnership was greeted by 12 lecturers and over 200 students from the Department of Civil Engineering.  Learn more about this joint partnership here.
